Bible Contradictions and their Explanations

I have done a good share of searching for Bible contradictions. So far only one has even caused me to stumble a little. I will list that one first and the rest will try to be kept in order of where they are found in the Bible.

In Genesis, God changes Jacob’s name to Israel, then continues to call him Jacob.
This is the toughest “contradiction” I have come across to explain. I never found a good explanation (yet) but I believe I found a good enough answer.

Does God have respect for people or not?
(Translation Problem)

Did God make Man first or Land Animals first?

Adam doesn’t die the day he ate of the Tree of Knowledge.

The Flood in Genesis is Impossible?  [New: 8-22-2018]

How many of each animal did Noah have on the ark?

Was the ground dry or not?
(Confusion in what is happening in story.)

Does God Tempt or Not?
(Read out of context / Translation Problems)

Is there is Lie in the Book of Job?
(Reading the words to literally instead of using context.)
