Truth
The Truth. As hard as the world tries to ignore it, the truth does not go away. If you get to work late, you can make up all the excuses you want, you can lie about it all you want, but it doesn't change the fact that you still got to work late. In some cases the truth may seem to change. One minute you can be hungry. After you eat a meal, you can be full. One would think the truth changed, but that's not necessarily the case. The truth was the truth and though the answer changed after you ate your meal, it does not change what the truth was before you ate. Truth can be relevant to a particular moment, but the truth itself does not change.
Truth may also seem to be perspective, but that is not the case either. You might be driving in a car on the expressway and feel the car is running perfect. In your belief it is perfect but little do you know, the brake line has ruptured and you are actually driving at a high speed in a death trap. Was truth all perspective because from your point of view it was running perfect but only because you didn't know the brake line had ruptured? If you had known the brake line was split, well, then you would have believed you were in trouble and your opinion of the truth would have been different, right? Wrong. In your honest opinion, you would think that car running perfect and as far as you know that is the truth. It would be truthful enough to say you were not lying, but not knowing about the brake lines does not change the fact they were still ruptured. The truth is actually that the brake lines are bad and you are in a ton of trouble. Whether you know the facts or not. Whether you believe the facts or not, the truth does not stop being the truth.
The Truth. Whether it is in the government or our schools, the truth is becoming more and more watered down. Even in our News Stations on TV, much of what they tell us is only a version of the truth, watered down and twisted to help their ratings. Our courts are about one lawyer beating another lawyer and nothing about seeking the truth. As a people, we are taught that the truth is not what is important and as a result, more and more we tend to look for the results we want, rather than looking for the truth.
Atheists are experts when it comes to twisting the facts to fit what they want, rather than looking for the truth. I was recently sent a link to a verse in the Bible that said straight out that every move we make is done when and how God chooses. The person showed me that and asked how can God possibly give us free will if he controls our every move? I was stumped at first. I knew something was wrong, but I couldn't figure out what it was for a moment. Then I looked up at the top of my screen and saw the version of the Bible he sent me a link to. Something like the Good News Bible. So I changed it to other versions and every version I changed it to, worded it in the way it was saying there is a time and place for everything. Not that God controls us. I was in shock at first. Even some of the Bible versions are interpreted to fit what was wanted rather than the truth! And of course, the Atheist I was dealing with picked that one because the truth didn't matter to him. He wanted to support his own beliefs.
Now don't get me wrong. Not all Atheists are like that. There are some who are trying to see the truth and just have not seen enough to counter their beliefs. Some are continuously deceived by other Atheists as well. But many of them have no intention of looking for the truth. They do not care about the truth. The only thing they look for is evidence that backs their belief up and if it doesn't, they ignore it.
Recently I was at the same place on-line where someone had posted something about evolution not being proven. Atheists jumped on that and gave evidence to prove that evolution was a fact. However, they only backed up micro-evolution and not macro-evolution. Micro-evolution is the bodies ability to adapt to its surroundings. A body, whether it be a human, a dog, a bird, or lizard, has the ability to adapt. It can make changes that are not seen right away but through generations it can make very noticeable differences. This is why Americans look so different from Middle Easterner's and again from Asians. Whether you believe in evolution or creation, the fact is that everyone comes from one ancestor somewhere back in time and as we multiplied and spread out throughout the Earth, as generations gave birth to new generations, the children slowly changed in looks to adapt better to the surrounding area. This ability is micro-evolution. Macro evolution is for one species to evolve and change into another. This has never been witnessed by science and never will be because it does not exist. To say man came from ape is nothing more than a theory that Darwin drummed up and his followers push as fact, but the truth is they have zero evidence to back it up. Instead they try to say there is no micro or macro evolution and evolution is simply evolution. By believing this they can ignore the facts that science has never witnessed one creature turning into another, never found an in between species as there would be millions of, and has never even found a fossil of one of these in between species. At one point, fish had to learn to live on land. Snakes had to walk. Birds would have arms and not wings. Whatever species evolved into another species, there would be in between species of every stage still among us. But Darwinist would have you believe that the entire species changed at the same time so there are no mid species to be found. But instead of looking at the entire truth and all of the facts, they toss aside the truths that don't fit their beliefs and only follow the evidence that does.
Here are some hard facts that simply cannot be argued. The truth is the truth, no matter whether you believe it or not. However much you ignore the truth, it will not stop being the truth. If God exists, he will continue to exist whether you accept it or not. IF God is real, you can theorize all you wish and ignore all the facts you want, it wont change the fact God still exists. Likewise, if God does not exist, however much the Christians want to believe in him, it wont change that God does not exist. What we believe. What we want to believe, will make zero difference. The truth will continue to be the truth.
By looking to prove our own beliefs and not looking for the truth, the only thing we accomplish is to justify lies. We do ourselves and those we love an injustice. If you do not believe in God, you should not be looking for proof that you are correct. You should be testing your belief by looking to prove it wrong. IF you are a Muslim, you should not be looking to prove yourself right. You should be looking to either prove there is no God or that Christianity or another religion has it right. If you are a Christian, you should be doing the same things. And again, do not get me wrong. I am not saying you should go out looking to believe someone else is right and you are wrong, but what I am saying is you should look at your own beliefs and others beliefs with open eyes and be willing to accept the truth if you find out yours is not right. Because the truth is gong to be right no matter how hard you try to prove it wrong, it will continue to be right.
When the Atheist sent me the link to the verse about God being in control of our every move, I didn't shy away from looking it up. I didn't toss it aside and say its impossible because I don't believe it. I looked it up and then I continued to look into it. When I saw the version of the Bible was one that sounded strange to me, I read the verse in three other versions and found all three other versions said something different than his version said. Every time an Atheist points out a verse as being contradictory or a mistake, I never shy away from looking into it. I simply google the verse in question and use an adjective like "Explained" in the search. I look at sites where Christians are explaining the verse and why they say it. I look at the logic from both point of views and decide which one makes most sense. I also read the verses before and after it as well to make sure I get the right context of the story and who is speaking at the time and to whom they are speaking. I do not fear looking for the truth because 1) I know I have the truth in Jesus, and 2) I know the truth is the truth and that is right no matter what I want to believe. I would rather learn I am wrong and learn the truth than to continue believing a lie.
Even the Bible tells us to not take everything on faith but to test it. Jesus wanted his disciples to test his own words because he knew he spoke the truth. I am so confident that God is the truth, that I am willing to listen to what others have to say and look up what they have to say and investigate it myself, because I have no fear that I will learn God is wrong. If I ever do, then I wouldn't want to follow a lie anyway. The truth is what is important to learn. Don't ever take what anyone says as the complete truth. Not even me. I am human and I can get things wrong. I can make mistakes and believe wrongly. I can be misled. If you ever believe I do have something wrong, feel free to let me know (politely of course or I wont listen) and I will gladly look at it and make my decision on what is right. If I find I was wrong, I will admit it. Because the truth is more important than my own pride.
And as you read my articles, I do believe you will see the truth if you are willing to see it. I believe that you will see how wrong Christians can be sometimes. If you read all of my articles on evidence of God, I believe you will see the truth for yourself if you are willing. The truth that God does exist and Jesus is real and he is our Lord and Savior.
