Why I believe Judaism is wrong
For a long time I had a hard time with how to prove Judaism wrong. For one, they believe the Old Testament is the Word of God still. So do I, so how can I knock them down for that? Also, because they are known as God's people, there is a fear in me of going against the Jews. What I had to realize is that standing against Judaism is not the same thing as standing against the Jews.
Here is the thing. I have studied the Bible a lot. I have studied every major Christian doctrine and I have found zero contradictions in God's Word. That means both the Old and the New Testament. I have also found there is more than sufficient evidence that Jesus was a real person, died on the cross, and rose from the dead. If Jesus was real and he did both, die on the cross and rose from the dead? That alone proves Judaism is wrong because basically that is the true difference between Judaism and Christianity. Christianity accepts Jesus as the Christ and Judaism does not. So if Jesus did die on the cross and rose from the dead, then that makes Jesus the Christ and Judaism wrong by default.
As a Christian, I have experienced God's presence in a life changing way. I have had God confirm in me that I had the Holy Spirit in me. I have met many others who have the same experiences. There are millions of Christians who claim they have had those experiences. I have never heard a Jew come out and talk about those experiences. So who am I to believe?
I cannot prove beyond a doubt to anyone that Jesus rose from the dead. Jews and Christians believe the disciples all existed. We all know they went into hiding after Jesus died for fear of their own lives. We also know that a few days later, they suddenly were no longer afraid but instead, they went out claiming to have witnessed Jesus alive again. Risen from the dead. They believed this to the point they were willing to die for it.
People do not die for lies. It takes a lot of faith to die for something you believe in. You simply are not going to die for something you know is just a lie. So it is just not logical to believe that 12 men all made up a lie that Jesus rose from the dead and most of them all ended up dying for that lie. Not one of them ever admitted to the lie. That is not logical.
Also consider the fact that both the Jewish leaders as well as the Romans tried very hard to stop Christianity from growing. To the point they began imprisoning people who claimed to be Christians and even killing many of them. When Jesus was placed in a tomb, they rolled a stone in front of it as well as set a Roman guard in front of it. If they truly wanted to stop Christianity in its tracks, why didn't they just produce the body? If the people would have seen Jesus' body, they would then know He did not resurrect and that would have ended Christianity quick. Yet they never produced the body and instead put a lot of innocent people to death. The only reason they would not have produced the body of Jesus is if they didn't have the body.
The disciples were scared for their own lives and the tomb had a Roman troop guarding it. Not just one guard but many guards. There is no chance the disciples could sneak in and rolled a great stone out of the way and stole the body without the Roman guards knowing.
The truth is, there is enough evidence to logically accept that Jesus rose from the dead. I and millions of others have our own experiences to prove to us that Jesus was the Christ. I simply cannot even consider Judaism as being the correct religion.
Now if you have not had that experience for yourself, you have a choice to believe me lying or speaking truth. Once again you have to also ask yourself, why would millions of people be lying about their experiences with God? What would it serve us to lie about our religion? What would it serve us to live something we know is a lie? I have no reason to lie about my experiences. I do not run a church and get no money from it. Certainly not enough to make all the time and effort I put into this website, writing my articles and teaching others on Facebook, all on top of working a full time job as an automotive engineer. I would be completely critically insane to spend that much time and effort on a lie.
I have to mark down Judaism as a false religion on the grounds that God has proven to me that Jesus is the Christ.
